Trick or Treat! Want to come out and play?

PhotobucketPhotobucket

I had so much fun working on this piece today. It was one of those things when it just all came together. My morning started on bunnies and ended with a Devil and a Pumpkin guy. When you don't think to much about something, normally those are the ones that turn out the best.

Wow those are great! You are so talented!
What kind of clay do you use for those?

Hi Tascha, I use a powder papier mache product. Just add water and sculpt. It is very messy and frustrating at times. I keep wanting to try that paper clay though.

Glad you like the new piece.

I love the personality that you put into these little guys! I can imagine them all together in a little village...you really make them come to life! :)

P.S. Try the paper clay if you get a chance...you will love it! I've used it before and it's really fun! :)

Thanks Mere, I really want to take the plunge on the clay. I am really a creature of habits. I like that my pieces are not so perfectly smooth. Plus I think it makes me different from the other people that work with papier mache.

I will try it some time this summer when things slow down a bit.

I prefer Halloween it is my absolute favorite Holiday.

Janelle, You are so sweet. You know how I am one of your biggest fans.

That product I use has been giving me some major headaches. These bags I have right now are a sticky mess. I have had a few that aren't that bad in the past. I guess it's a challenge and who doesn't like a challenge.
