Creating New Designs for G & G

Photobucket

It's getting close to that time already. Creating new designs for the month of February for Glitter and Grunge. Most of you know that I am mainly of papier mache artist but I have a passion for painting as well. I have always loved to paint. I really like all the new mixed media paintings that have become so popular. This is my contribution to that medium. It is a "Debutante". She is holding a sign that says, "Shall we dance".

When I was younger, I fell in love at 17 and moved away and got married. One of the things that I wish I wouldn't of missed in my youth was becoming a "Deb". All of my sisters got to experience the whole process. The party's and the grand Ball. It just wasn't in my cards though. So this young girl is on her way to one of the party's holding a bouquet of flowers that she just received from one of her dates.

Look for this item for sale at the first of February on G & G's website. I will be introducting other items as well.

She is very sweet! :) Great job! To be a Deb sounds like fun, but you know, it's never too late to go out and dance! :)
Have a great weekend!

Looks great! That's funny that she carries a "Shall We Dance?" sign because I'm listening to a song from that soundtrack now. Love the PCD's version of "Sway."
Create on!

O.K. What the heck are you talking about "Love the PCD's version of "Sway."

I must really be showing my age. I don't know what or who that is. You know not all of us are young and vivacious as you!

Sorry, I forgot granny! PCD=Pussy Cat Dolls. They did a cover of "Sway" for the "Shall We Dance" soundtrack, which by the way is an awesome soundtrack. I think you'll find it better than your Lawrence Welk albums ;+) hehehehe
Makes you want to take dance classes!

Now I know who PCD's are. All you young guys use abbrev. for stuff. I need to get with the times. I do love them though. I like "Buttons".

Thanks on the slide show. That is all stuff from last year.
